Seymour Main Street will hold a focus group and public input session for downtown residents from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at Seymour City Hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St.

Veridus Group, an organization hired by Seymour Main Street, will facilitate the focus group as part of a Downtown Streetscape Master Plan.

A portion of the plan will address areas of improvement downtown by providing recommendations for new policies, amenities and services to enhance the quality of life in downtown Seymour.

Community members residing in the downtown area are encouraged to join the meeting. The downtown area includes those living between Brown and Sixth streets and Pine and Broadway streets.
