Family members and friends from around the country gathered recently to celebrate the life of Craig Lewis Huffman, formerly of Brownstown.

Craig passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Charlotte, NC.

Born April 18, 1967 in Tehran, Iran, he was the son of Monte Lewis and Jane Hall Huffman, teachers at The American School there.

Craig graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1985. He went on to earn a BS degree in Safety Management from Indiana State University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Penn State.

On September 24, 2005 at the United Methodist Church in Medora he was married to the former Cheryl Lyn Krauss. They were blessed with two sons, Monte Lewis and Thomas Logan Huffman.

Craig spent his career as a global safety professional with several major firms including Mobil Chemical, Mobil Oil, Nabisco, Schering-Plough and International Specialty Products.

Craig had a passion for golfing, skiing, hunting, fishing and he enjoyed all sports. The family enjoyed skiing and cycling vacations, road trips and time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife and sons he is survived by his mother, his brother Mark Logan Huffman, his uncle George Walter Hall, two aunts, Sara (Norman) Beck and Sue (Terry) Boknecht and many cousins and friends.
