Beck’s Mill is celebrating 214 years of milling Saturday.

Festivities will go from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the mill, 4433 S. Beck’s Mill Road, Salem.

Listen to the Corydon Dulcimer Society, browse craft and flea markets and treat yourself to a Mt. Tabor free hot dog meal and Walmart birthday cake.

There also will be mill tours and many demonstrations, including wool spinning, blacksmithing, moonshining and corn milling.

The special adult admission price is $2.14. It’s free for children 16 and under with a paid adult admission.

For information, visit becksmill.org.

Then Sunday, resident artist Dusty Baker will teach people how to paint mailable postcards of Beck’s Mill wildflowers. That will take place at 1 p.m. in the mill’s screened-in dining room.

The cost is $30. Register online at austys.com. Light refreshments will be available.
