INDIANAPOLIS

Brenda Hercamp, 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away August 15, 2022, at Community South Hospital. She was born on February 4, 1950, to the late Robert Taylor and Ruby Key. On September 1st, 1967, she married the love of her life, James Hercamp. September 1, 2022, will mark 55 years of marriage.

Brenda enjoyed going to the casino and shopping. She loved having a good time and being with her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Hercamp; one son, James Hercamp Jr.; one daughter, Rhonda Mills; one daughter-in law, Theresa Hercamp; one son-in law, Robert Mills; two stepsisters, Brenda Franklin, and Margaret Weed; and eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Taylor and Ruby Key; and two brothers, Robert Taylor Jr. and Gary Taylor.

Private graveside service will be held at a later date.
