CROTHERSVILLE

Judy Bannister, age 81 of Crothersville, IN was born on July 31, 1941, in Brutus Kentucky and entered her eternal life on 8/13/2022. She was the loving daughter of George Lester Davidson and Bessie “Hudson” Davidson.

Judy spent her first four years in Kentucky then moved to Ohio until she was eight years old before the family moved to Indiana. She was raised from the age of eight in Jennings County, Indiana. She was a 1960 graduate of Paris Crossing High School, Paris Crossing, IN.

Judy worked at F. Jacobson Shirt Factory in Seymour, IN for 27 years; U.S. Shoe Factory in Crothersville for 10 years and retired from Onkyo Inc., Columbus, IN in 2001. Judy was a member of First Baptist Church, Crothersville, IN.

She loved spending time with family, cooking for company, going for walks, working in her yard, laying on the beach and traveling. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Judy will be missed by her daughter, Lisa (Doug) Lewis, Paris Crossing, IN; Son, Rick (Cristi) Bannister, Brownstown, IN. Grandchildren, Kara Bannister, Koty (Jessica) Bannister, Amanda (Daniel) Worley, Justin Bannister, Bethany Lewis, Tony Bannister, Hollie Bannister, Jake (Nikki) Axsom and Amanda Axsom. Great Grandchildren, Alexis Parker, Draven Bannister, Raelynn Hedrick, Avery and Byron Worley. Sister Sandra (Lanny) O’Neal, Seymour, IN and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Son, Douglas Duane Bannister, Brothers, George David Davidson, Oakley Davidson, Herman Davidson Sr., Olin Davidson, Curtis Davidson, Douglas Davidson and Sister Pamela Mannix.

The celebration of Judy’s life will be Saturday, August 20th, 2022, at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory 110 E. Howard Street, Crothersville, IN 47229. Visitation will be from Noon to 3:00 PM with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at Cana Cemetery.
