Grace (Deaton) Nease, 75, of Henryville, IN, formerly of Crothersville, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 3:20 AM with her family surrounding her, praying as she entered the gates of heaven. Grace was born in Perry County, KY on Thursday, April 24, 1947, to Hagar and June (Burns) Deaton. On October 10, 1967, Grace married the love of her life, Zack Nease Jr.. This year would have been their 55th wedding anniversary together.

Grace was an exceptional homemaker, decorator, cook, and devoted wife, mom, and nana. She was a true example of a Christian, loved God even as he saw her through the trials and tribulations of her final days but during it all, she praised him and always encouraged her family to never waver from Him or His word. He was their promise of seeing her again.

Grace enjoyed working in her flower garden, talking on the phone, cooking for her family, and making her famous Christmas cookie & candy trays. She loved her family with all her heart and spending endless hours with each one of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband, Zack Nease Jr., of Henryville, IN, her 5 children, Kimberly (David) Ruble of Saint Stephen, SC, Angie (Cory) Keasler of Henryville, IN, Christopher (Yvette) Nease of Long Island, NY, Brandon Nease of Crothersville, IN, and Dylan Nease of Fort Wayne, IN, 7 grandchildren, Keeley (Conner) Adams of Henryville, IN, Camdyn Keasler of Henryville, IN, Quinten Keasler of Henryville, IN, Ashely Narvaez of New York, Gabriel & Isaias Nease of Evansville, IN, and Quaid Keasler of Henryville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hagar and June (Burns) Deaton, and 2 brothers, John Smith Jr. and James Deaton.
