The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department’s inaugural Denim and Diamonds mother/son dance will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 10 at Crossroads Community Park, 101 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

Tickets are $25 per mother/son. Only 50 tickets are available.

Pizza from Brewskies Downtown, Kona Ice, a disc jockey and dancing will be part of the new event.
