Medora Christmas Festival seeks parade entries

The Medora Christmas Festival committee is seeking entries for the 2022 parade, which will be at 1 p.m. during the festival Dec. 3.

Businesses that would like to advertise, tractors, Jeeps, antique vehicles, floats, emergency vehicles, walking units, school bands, etc. are free to participate.

Send name, address, phone number and description of parade entry via a message at facebook.com/medorachristmasfestival.

Parade entries will be accepted that day, but the committee is getting the word out now to get an idea of who is interested in participating.

Lineup will be at noon Dec. 3 for the judges to judge each category for a chance to win cash and prizes.

Also, this will be the 50th annual festival, and the committee is seeking the names and photos of parade grand marshals throughout the years. The committee would like to invite any of them to ride in the parade, and if they have died, a family member may attend to be presented a picture of their loved one.

Share name and photos on a post on the Facebook page or contact Cassie Davidson, Jessica Wetzel, Becky Zirkel, Paul Helton or Rachel Ault.
