AUSTIN

Maulta Marie Durham, 67, of Austin, Indiana passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky

Born October 29, 1954 in Chavies, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Buster and Lula (Johnson) Morris.

Maulta loved helping with the elderly and taking care of her Gary.

Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years, Gary Durham, sons, Michael Joseph (Kathy) Durham of Scottsburg and Jonathan Glen Durham of Austin, sisters, Mary Turner of Austin, Indiana and Debbie Noble of Scottsburg, Indiana, brothers, Johnny Morris of Austin, Indiana and Glen Morris of Orleans, Indiana.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Patience Morgan, Desiraye Morgan, and Jeffrey Baker, and five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Reagan, Abby, Draven, and Callie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Morris.

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Tom Woodson officiating.

Visitation will be 10 am to 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
