Descendants and friends of Ralph and Sarah Kimmie Hanner held their annual family reunion on the Fourth of July.

The reunion was at the old homeplace of Ralph and Kimmie, where the Rev. Floyd and Shona Hanner Fisher presently live.

The children of Ralph and Kimmie were Dewey Hanner, Lewey Hanner, Lester Hanner, Chester Hanner, Eldon Hanner, Glenn Hanner, Woodrow Hanner, Ethel Hanner Norman, Iva Hanner Harrell, Ina Hanner Fish and Beulah Hanner Parker.

Due to the heat, only 24 attended the reunion this year. Some of those who were present were Morris and Judy Hanner, Emmitt and Amanda Hanner, Mike and Karen James with children Zebulon and Hillary Fisher with Owen and Bailee, Zane Fisher, Brad and Angie with son Clayton, Larry and Tammy Leckrone, the Rev. Floyd and Shona Fisher and Angie’s sister, Joy.
