Koch to serve as GOP convention parliamentarian

State District 44 Sen. Eric Koch, R-Bedford, has been named parliamentarian for the 2022 Indiana Republican State Convention to be held Friday and Saturday in Indianapolis.

Koch will advise convention Chairman Ed Simcox and serve as procedural adviser to the convention.

Koch said he is looking forward to an exciting convention and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the party and the delegates as parliamentarian.

In 2016, he served as co-chairman of the GOP state convention platform committee and chairman of the resolutions committee.

Koch, an attorney in private practice with offices in Bedford and Bloomington, is the ranking member of the Senate judiciary committee.

Senate District 44 includes all or parts of Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe counties and will include Orange County beginning in November.
