Build a shark workshop set at library

The Jackson County Public Library is offering a free Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop for children ages 2 to 12 at the Medora and Crothersville libraries and at Gaiser Park in Seymour.

Participants will build a stuffed shark friend to take home and receive a copy of “Please Be Nice to Sharks” by Matt Weiss.

Registration is required, and space is limited in these programs sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library. No group registrations are available.

The program will be at 3:30 or 4:30 p.m. June 23 at the Medora Library, 27 W. Main St. Registration opens at 2 p.m. June 16 with a limit of 10 for each session.

It will be at 3:30 or 4:30 p.m. June 27 at the Crothersville Library, 120 W. Main St. Registration opens at 2 p.m. June 20 with a limit of 15 for each session.

The Gaiser Park program will be at 10 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. June 28. Registration opens at 10 a.m. June 20 with a limit of 47 per session.
