McDowell Education Center in Columbus plans to offer free classes beginning Aug. 10 to prepare individuals for front-line material handling and supply chain logistics jobs in fulfillment centers, warehouse, distribution centers and factories.
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Certification program consists of both foundational-level Certified Logistics Associate and mid-level Technical CLT Certification.
Students need to plan for 10 hours a week for study and class time. The nine-week class will meet virtually from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays and in person from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 5.
