Dolores June (Johnson) Peacock Pratt, 93, of Crothersville, IN, passed away at 1:39 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.

Dolores was born on Monday, July 2, 1928, in Brook, IN to Ervin Edward Johnson and Margaret Jeannette (Erb) Johnson.

Dolores was a 1946 Scottsburg High School graduate. Dolores was a charter member and the oldest living member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Crothersville.

On June 15, 1946, Dolores married Gayle William Peacock, he passed away on October 9, 1982. She married Hubert Pratt on September 3, 1988, he passed away on July 4, 2002.

Dolores was a CNA at the Jackson Park Convalescent Center. She retired from there after working there for 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, flowers, especially yellow roses and always had an appetite for desserts, but more than anything she loved God, her church, her kids, and grandkids.

Survivors include 8 children, Angela (Russell) Ortman of Seymour, IN, Julia (Mark) Sawyer of Austin, IN, Beverly (Mike) Baker of Seymour, IN, Rahn Peacock of Crothersville, IN, Chris (Gloria) Peacock of Salem, IN, Gina Pruitt of Crothersville, IN, Keri (Rob) Johnson of Crothersville, IN, Marcie (Bob) Peacock of Sellersburg, IN, and son in law, Denver Glenn of Crothersville, IN, 4 step children, David (Pam) Pratt of North Vernon, IN, Judy (Dennis) Johnson of Brownstown, IN, Zena Pratt of Hooks, TX, Ruthie Pratt of North Vernon, IN, 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, 1 sister, Peggy Thompson of Tyler, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Margaret Johnson, 2 daughters, Infant Debra Peacock and Melissa Glenn (December 2, 2017), 1 sister, Mary Lou Heacock, 3 brothers, Elvin, Russell, Dale Johnson, 1 son in law, Mike Pruitt, 1 stepdaughter, Eva Pratt.

Reverend Justin Miles, Reverend Jerry Miles, and Reverend Denver Glenn will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery.

Friends may visit from at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home &Crematory in Crothersville and after 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the church.
