The congregations of Trinity United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church invite the public to attend a summer family event called “Jerusalem Marketplace: Where Jesus Walked to the Cross.”

It will be conducted from June 20 to 23 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Families are invited to step back in time at Jerusalem Marketplace, exploring traditions, food and activities during the vacation Bible school.

Kids and adults will be able to participate in the marketplace, singing catchy songs, playing teamwork-building games, digging into Bible-times snacks, visiting the synagogue school and collecting Bible memory makers to remind them of God’s word.

Plus, everyone can learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called “God Sightings.”

Each day concludes at “Celebration,” a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

Jerusalem Marketplace will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. each day.
