Richard D VonDielingen, 86, of Seymour, Indiana passed away May 23, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center. In 1936, he was born to the late Gustav and Dorothy (Taskey) VonDielingen. He married Patsy Gossman on June 16, 1957, who passed in 2000. He married Janice (Schneider) Foster on May 11, 2003, and she survives.

Richard was a member of St Peters Lutheran Church and held many offices throughout the years. He was also a member of the Western Twirlers Square Dance Club.

He is survived by his wife; Janice (Schneider) Foster, his children; Joe (Karen) VonDielingen, Lori (Scott) McCain, Judi (Jeff) Clark, Kevin (Holly) Foster, Kerry (Sonia) Foster, his grandchildren; Jeanna (Tony) Eppley, Grant (Heather) VonDielingen, Matt (Danielle) McCain, Chase (Chandler) McCain, Anne McCain, Austin Tucker, Morgan (Max) Mattern, Caleb (Jessica) Clark, Blake Foster, Drew (Mackenzie) Foster, Allan Lamb, and his great-grandchildren; Patsy Eppley, Marin VonDielingen, Mabrey McCain, Asher McCain, Griffin McCain, Caleah Clark, Addie Clark, and Archer Clark, and his brother; Gerald VonDielingen.

He is preceded in death by his first wife; Patsy VonDielingen, and his parents; Gustav and Dorothy (Taskey) VonDielingen.

Visitation will be held on May 25, 2022, from 4pm to 8pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service. Service will be held on May 26, 2022, at 11am at Voss and Sons Funeral service with burial to follow at St Peters Lutheran Cemetery.

Family requests memorial contributions be made to St Peters Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran Church or donor’s choice in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
