Library offering free summer programs for kids

The Jackson County Public Library is offering free programming for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade as part of the Oceans of Possibilities summer learning program at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries.

Registration is required, and space is limited. To sign up, visit myjclibrary.org/events.

The programs, meeting times and dates are:

Seymour

Caspian Creations at 3 p.m. Mondays June 7 through July 25. An art class for creative kids. The class will not meet July 4.

Curious Kids at 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays. The STEAM class will not meet June 28.

Giant Games with life-size board games at 2 or 4:30 p.m. June 10: Monopoly Jr. 2 or 4:30 p.m. July 15: Pac-Man.

Crothersville

Curious Kids, a STEAM class, at 4 p.m. June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17.

Ocean Art: Underwater Seascapes at 4 p.m. July 13.

Ocean art: Soothing Ocean Bottle at 4 p.m. July 15.

Medora

Crafts Under the Ocean at 3:30 p.m. June 14: Rainbow Fish and 3:30 p.m. July 12: Soothing Ocean Bottle.
