May is National Foster Care Month.

The Boys and Girls Club of Seymour’s Indiana Kids program is collecting items for care bags that will be given to local children (newborn to 17 years old) in the foster care system.

Items needed include small stuffed animals, books, coloring books, crayons, journals, pens, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, lotion, moisturizer, bath puffs, brushes, combs, hair ties, shampoo and conditioner.

Donations may be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays through May 27 at the club, 950 N. O’Brien St., Seymour.
