The Cortland Crushers 4-H Club is hosting a fundraising event by partnering with Junkyard BBQ and Ice Cream.

To kick off the summer right, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Walnut Street Parking Lot in downtown Seymour, the Cortland Crushers will be serving up Junkyard BBQ’s menu items, including homemade ice cream, carhop style.

Customers will pull up, and the club members will be there to take orders and serve right to customers’ vehicles.

A portion of the proceeds will go back into the Crushers Club fund to pay for yearly club expenses.
