Shields Park Pool plans to open May 28

Shields Park Pool will open May 28 with the season hours set for noon to 5 p.m.

Swim lesson signups also will begin at noon May 28. Lessons are $40 and will consists of eight lessons for 30 minutes each. Those will be offered at 11 a.m. or 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday between June 20 and 30 or between July 11 and 21.

Pool rentals also open at noon May 28. The cost for two-hour rental is $300 for up to 100 people. Add $25 for each additional 25 people. The pool can be rented from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
