Every year, Jackson County Co-op Credit Union awards scholarships to select high school seniors and/or college undergraduates to help them further their education and pursue a college degree.
Applicants must be an accredited high school senior or a full-time college freshman or sophomore and be an active member of the credit union.
Local residents receiving scholarships this year are:
Bailey Engel, a senior at Seymour High School who will study nursing at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus
Katelyn Schepman, a senior at Trinity Lutheran High School who will study business at Western Kentucky University
Erin Lee, a senior at Austin High School who will study kinesiology at University of Tennessee – Knoxville
