Seymour churches plan joint services

Bethel Community Church, First United Methodist Church, Seymour Harvest Church and Trinity United Methodist Church invite the community to worship with them as they host joint services for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

The Maundy Thursday service will be at 7 p.m. April 14 at First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Third St., Seymour. The Rev. Angel Armstrong will deliver the message.

The Good Friday service will be at noon April 15 at Bethel Community Church, 350 Calvin Blvd., Seymour, with songs, prayer and scripture reading. Participants will then proceed carrying the cross through neighborhoods, accompanied with scripture and song, from Bethel to First United Methodist Church, where the service will conclude with songs, prayer and scripture reading.

All are invited to participate in remembrance of Christ’s suffering for all of us.
