Ron D. Allen

COLUMBUS

Ron Allen, 71, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2022 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Ron was born July 13, 1950 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Paul and Janet Allen.

Ron proudly served his country in the US Army retiring with 20 years’ service. After his retirement from the Army, Ron was employed by Toyota Manufacturing for 20 years as an environmental engineer.

Ron is survived by his wife, Kaye (Chambers) Allen whom he married in 2014. He is also survived by his children, Traci Combs, Toby Allen, Chad (Misty) Stapleton and Misty (Ben) Burton; brothers, Phillip (Jennie) Allen and Dee Allen; sister, Pauletta Allen; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandson. The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Ron’s nephew, Chris (Amy) Allen for the love and support throughout his illness.

Cremation will take place and per Ron’s request, no services are planned at this time. Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home is entrusted with Ron’s arrangements.
