Ronald “Red” C. Runge 72, of Seymour, IN, passed away at Schneck Medical Center on March 12, 2022. He was born in 1949 to the late Roy Runge and Lillie Eggersman Runge. In 2002 in Tennessee, he married Judy Clark and she preceded him in death in 2017.

Red was a member of Cornerstone Community Church and retired from Cummins Engine Company where he was employed more than 35 years. He was a proud Army Veteran and served his country during the Vietnam War. Red also loved playing golf.

Red is survived by his children; Daniel Brian (Samantha) Runge and Michelle (Keven) Newman; step children Michelle Mosley and Christine (Bill) Davis; 11 grandchildren Harrison (Courtney) Arbuckle, Grissom Arbuckle, Noah Arbuckle, Denise Runge, Allison Runge, Ciara Bright, Ashley (Greg) Barocas, Kaylee Davis, Delaney Davis, Codie Brittain, and Megan (Alex) Wischmeier, 5 great grandchildren, brothers; David Runge, Dennis (Lisa) Runge, Rich (Barb) Runge, Donald (Donna) Runge; sisters Pat (Dennis) Myers and Janet (Jim) Duggins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, daughter Julie Marie Runge, grandchild Paige Davis, brother Robert Runge, sister-in-law Tonna Runge, and sister in law Rita Runge.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Service from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm with Johnnie Spivey officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
