JCBank Senior Vice President and Chief Information Systems Officer Curtis Miller has announced the hiring of Jeff Fields as assistant vice president and information systems officer.

Fields has 20 years of business technology experience, three of those in the banking industry as senior network engineer with Indiana Bank and Trust Co.

He also served as assistant IT director with Rose Acre Farms and as a network administrator with Scott County School District 2 and ForSite Web Services LLC.

He holds certifications in A+, Network+ and Honeywell Access Systems.

Originally from Columbus, Fields has lived in Seymour for 15 years and was a member of the 2017 class of Leadership Jackson County.

He earned his associate degree in business administration and information technology from Indiana Business College, where he studied business and computer networking and security.

Fields is married and a father of three children. He enjoys volunteering, including helping with his son’s baseball team, and he and his daughter are currently yellow belts in taekwondo.
