Gregory Andrew “Andy” Hoevener, age 43, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Mr. Hoevener attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown with his grandparents.

Andy was an auto repairman at T &T Body Shop. He loved family gatherings, working on automobiles, motorcycle riding, fishing, shooting guns, and most of all he loved his dog “Ollie”. Andy was a comical guy and enjoyed life.

Born on January 10, 1979, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Gregory L. Hoevener and Jodeana Bowlin Buckler. His father and step-mother, Susan Hoevener, survive in Norman, and his mother preceded him in death.

Survivors also include two brothers: Sean G. Hoevener of Vevay, and Seth J. Hoevener of Chelsea; four sisters: Diann (Brian) Holmes of Indianapolis, Sophia Silvers of Bloomington, Rachel N. Hoevener of Indianapolis, and Emily J. Hoevener of Hanover; several step-brothers and step-sisters; grandmother, Loretta Hoevener of Brownstown; aunts: Paula Bowlin, Liza Biles, and Debbie (Gary) Ward; uncles: Allen Bowlin and Craig (Teresa) Hoevener; and several nieces and nephews.

Andy was also preceded in death by one brother, Shane A. Hoevener; and his grandfather, Leon Hoevener.

Funeral services for Gregory Andrew “Andy” Hoevener will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Jimmy Rodriquez officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the family of Andy Hoevener.
