Brownstown United Methodist Church will hold another evening of Messy Church (informal worship and a meal) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 16 at the church, 110 N. Poplar St., Brownstown.

The church will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a lesson by the Rev. Paul Huntsman on St. Patrick and a scripture lesson on Matthew 13:31-35 by the Rev. Merlin Pratt. A spaghetti meal with dessert will be provided, and there will be crafts for children to enjoy.

The service will be informal, so attendees are invited to wear comfortable attire and enjoy the evening. The gathering will be held in the basement social room, which is handicap-accessible. Anyone needing to use the elevator should enter the building through one of the education annex doors, where there will be someone to assist.
