Ralph Dean Kessler, age 72, a native and resident of Paris Crossing, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Vernon “Buck” Kessler and the late Cloia (Faulkner) Kessler. He was a Christian by faith and served his Country proudly in the United States Marie Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW and the Eagles Club. He enjoyed fishing, loved to mow his yard and gardening. He never had an enemy, he loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was always smiling and loving. He loved his grandson very much and was married for over 46 years to the love of his life and best friend.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Turpin) Kessler of Paris Crossing, Indiana. One son, Tony Hohenstreiter and his wife Amanda of Seymour, Indiana. One adopted daughter, Lori Deaton of Paris Crossing, Indiana. Two brothers, Randall Kessler and his wife Diane of Scottsburg, Indiana and Danny Kessler and his wife Cindy of Paris Crossing, Indiana. Two sisters, Della Mae Cassidy of Bloomington, Indiana and Diane Derringer and her husband Roger of Commiskey, Indiana. One grandson, Cody Hohenstreiter and his wife Raven of Seymour, Indiana and one great grandson, Cooper Hohenstreiter of Seymour, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Kessler.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM Until 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Danny Kessler and Pastor Jim Hudson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Cana Cemetery with full military honors.
