Eileen Goss, 68, of Bloomington passed away peacefully on February 13, 2022 at Hearthstone Health Campus.

Eileen was born February 27, 1953 in Columbus, IN, she was the daughter of Keith and Leona Waggoner. Raised in Freetown, IN she graduated from Brownstown Central High School and married her high school sweetheart, Jack Goss, on June 23, 1973. Eileen attended and graduated from Indiana Central University (now University of Indianapolis ). She went on to work at St. Francis Hospital before spending 24 years at RBBCSC as the school nurse for Stinesville Elementary. She became the nurse manager for RBBCSC before retiring in 2013. She served the community on the Richland Township Advisory Board and was an active member of Tri Kappa.

Eileen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lover of music who enjoyed playing the piano and was known for playing her accordion at gatherings amongst family and friends. You could often find Eileen at local restaurants gathered with friends catching up over coffee. Eileen was an exceptional cook who poured love into everything she made. She enjoyed being of service and taking care of others. She loved hosting friends and family over the holidays, birthdays, or anything worth celebrating. She was devoted to her faith and was an active member of her church, Ellettsville First United Methodist Church. It goes without saying, she will be deeply missed by family, friends, and community.

Eileen is preceded in death by; husband, Jack Goss; mother, Leona Woodfill Waggoner; father, Keith Waggoner; brother, Gene Wingham; sister, Betty Helmericks. She is survived by; daughter, Sarah Webre; son, Aaron Goss; granddaughter, Olivia Webre; grandson, Keane Webre, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Public visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Friday, February 18 at Chandler Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at Ellettsville First United Methodist Church. Services at First United Methodist Church will be officiated by Pastor Mike Collins at 2pm on Saturday, February 19. Burial is to follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
