SEYMOUR

Mildred Midge Jaeger passed away on February 8, 2022, at Columbus Regional Hospital surrounded by her daughter Nancy. Midge was born in 1933 in Jackson County to the late Fannie Wilkerson Jaynes and Claud Jaynes.

Midge married A.D. Jaeger on February 15, 1969, in Seymour. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church. She retired from Contel Phone company. She loved listening to Nancy read her the bible, enjoyed watching old TV shows and movies, and going out to eat at local restaurants.

Midge is survived by her children; Debra Belanger, David (Tammy) Jaeger, and Nancy Cockerham, grandchildren; Felicia Booker, David Burke, Barry (Robin) Burke, David Jaeger, Ronnie Jaeger, Nick (Annette) Cockerham, Luke (Becca) Cockerham, and Mark (Courtney) Cockerham, great grandchildren; Anna Rose, Bryan, Adyen, MaKeyla, Kenesha, Dominic, Hanx, Dominic, and Amelia, one brother, Wilbur Jaynes, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Harold Jaynes and Homer Jaynes, and sister Dorothy Lucas, Norma Strong, Ruth Jaynes, and twin sister Millie Jaynes, sister-in-law Nona Jaynes.

Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Monday February 14, 2022, from 4-8 pm and on February 15, 2022, from 12-1 pm. Services will be held on February 15, 2022, at 1 pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with Pastor Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
