Crothersville will be implementing an emergency announcement system.

Anyone who would like to receive a text, an email or a call for water outages, road closures or other emergency events should send a message to the town’s Facebook page, facebook.com/townofcrothersville, with the phone number or email address. If a person wants to receive them by phone, they should indicate whether they want a text or a call.

Town officials hope to have the system up and running within the next month.
