VALLONIA

Violetta V. Wolka, 88, of Vallonia, peacefully went to be with her Lord at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She had been ill for 2 years.

Lettie was born on June 8, 1933, in Medora, to the late Lawrence &Lizzie Belle Fee. She graduated from Clearspring High School. She married Frank Wolka, SR. on August 24, 1952, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia. She had also been a member of the Mothers of Twins Club and card club. Lettie loved to bake &cook for her family &have them over for Sunday dinners. She loved gardening &working in her flowers.

Survivors include her husband Frank SR., their children, Frank (Lana) Wolka, Jr., Debbie (Jim) Helwig, &Pattie Lubker, all of Vallonia; grandchildren: Clint (Ashley) Wolka, Cody (April) Wolka, Matt (Bethany) Helwig, Tricia (Ian) McPherson, &Lindsey (Matt) Montgomery; great grandchildren: Waylon Wolka, Ridge Wolka, Cooper Wolka, Drake Wolka, Teighan Wolka, Heidi Helwig, Zachary Helwig, Carmen Helwig, Mae Helwig, Noe McPherson, Nohea McPherson, Leilani McPherson, &Malia McPherson; sister, Troy (Duane) Pardieck.

Lettie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Frank &Garrett Fee, &sisters: Ruby Fosbrink &Hazel Curry.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia with Pastor Jordan McKinley officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
