The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church in Seymour met Jan. 25.

President Janice Brock called the meeting to order and introduced two prospective members, Gloria Allman and Grace Low.

Brock gave devotions on enjoying the changing of the seasons and followed with prayer.

There are several members who need prayers and love. She read several thank-you notes.

The day care put in a request for three 43-inch televisions. A motion was made, seconded and passed.

Volunteers are needed to work on the scrapbook, take pictures and be a salesperson. Also, Brock would like others to give devotions.

The next meeting will be a pitch-in dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 22 to celebrate the society’s anniversary.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
