BEVERLY, Ohio

Warren A. “Doc” Keyser, 89, of Beverly, Ohio, formerly of Seymour, IN. died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. He was born on February 27, 1932 in Bremen IN son of Richard Emmanuel and Louise Ruth Miller Keyser.

Warren attended Indiana Central College, Indiana University and the University of Louisville. He had been a teacher, guidance counselor, principal and a held a superintendent license. He had coached basketball, baseball and track and had been a basketball referee in the area for several years. While in Seymour he was Dean of Boys for several years as well as Guidance Director and Assistant Principal until he retired in 1989.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing and deer hunting and he was well known as a farmer for raising corn, tasty strawberries and other excellent produce. He was also a beekeeper.

He was married on December 30, 1951 to Doris Anne Davis who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Jane Annette Arnold and her husband Gregory Jay of Beverly, Ohio; two grandchildren, Heather Renee Arnold and her husband Josh of Waterford, Ohio and Jarrod Warren Arnold and his wife Katie of Beverly, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brody, Brynna and Ace; and a brother, Jack Lee (Sandra) Keyser.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Wayne and three sisters, Jeanette, Loretta and Doris.

A private family graveside service will held with Pastor Jim Porter officiating.

Burial will be in the Beverly Cemetery.
