The Seymour Board of Zoning Appeals welcomed its newest member during the first meeting of 2022 on Tuesday night at city hall.

Karen Munson attended the meeting virtually via Zoom. She replaces Jim Myers, who retired from the BZA at the end of 2021.

At the end of the meeting, appointing committee members Jason Kleber and Jack Swindell nominated Rob Kaufman as president and Dave Eggers as vice president for 2022. That passed 5-0.

Kaufman had been serving as president since the death of the previous president, John Richey, in the fall of 2021.

The BZA meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the council chambers at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St., Seymour. Enter through the door facing Third Street.
