The Crothersville Community School Corp. board of school trustees recently approved the 2022-23 school calendar.

The first day for staff will be Aug. 1, and students will start Aug. 2.

School will not be in session Sept. 5 for Labor Day, Oct. 10 through 14 for fall break, Nov. 8 for Election Day, Nov. 23 through 25 for Thanksgiving break and Dec. 19 through 30 for Christmas break. Students and staff will return from Christmas break Jan. 2.

There will be no school Jan. 16 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Feb. 20 for Presidents Day. Those could be used for makeup days if needed.

School also won’t be in session March 27 through 31 for spring break and April 7 for Good Friday with the latter set as a possible makeup day.

March 24, April 10 and May 5 also are possible makeup days.

The last day of school for students is set for May 23, and the staff’s last day is May 24. Graduation will be at 8 p.m. May 26.
