A pesticide core training session is planned for 9 a.m. to noon March 5 at Donner Center, 739 22nd St., Columbus.

The program, which costs $50, will cover all topics in the core training manual with a special focus on controlled invasive species and the training to prepare participants for the exam. The cost covers the core manual.

The fee does not include the exam, which is being offered by Metro Institute through its testing centers located around the state. There is an additional cost for the exam. More information will be provided to those participating in the training session.
