Medora falls to West Washington

The Medora boys basketball team hosted West Washington on Tuesday night, and the Hornets suffered a 60-34 loss.

The Hornets were only down two after the first quarter, but an 18-3 advantage in the second quarter allowed West Washington to take control of the game.

Leading Medora in scoring on the night was Shepard Earl with a game-high 19 points. Braxton McCory added eight points, Dawson Cornett had five and Eli Sturgill two.

The Hornets are now 3-10 on the season with two county games coming up as part of their four-game homestand.

First up will be Trinity Lutheran on Friday night, followed by Crothersville on Saturday night. Both games are slated to tip off around 7:30 p.m. with junior varsity games before that at 6 p.m.
