Raymond Minton, 75, passed away Friday afternoon with family by his side, January 7, 2022. He was a resident of Seymour.

He was born April 29, 1946 in Manchester, KY to Sam and Hazel (Cheek) Minton. He married Marion Dicks on June 15, 1969 in Louisville, KY. Survivors include his wife, Marion Minton; five children Teresa White, Bob Masters, Cathy Masters, Jennifer Smiley, and Ray Minton; three brothers, Claude, Lonnie George McKinley; three sisters, Thelma June Bennett, Helen Fultz, and Ruby Henson; eight grandchildren, Corey, McKayla, Ashley, Annika, Garrett, Mallory, Kati, Lane, Gracie; and five great grandchildren, Sophia, Nora, Cecilia, Lilly, and Joseph.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene; and one sister, Rosie Mae.

Ray worked in Construction most his life and was always looking to help someone in need.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour.

Calling will take place from 4-8PM, Wednesday, January 12, at Voss &Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 316 N. Chestnut, Seymour. Calling will also take place from 10-11AM Thursday, January 13, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 325 S. Chestnut, Seymour. A Mass and Burial will take place at 11AM, Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church and he will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
