JCCT presenting “Broadway Cabaret” for dinner theater

Jackson County Community Theatre’s annual dinner theater will feature the presentation of “Broadway Cabaret,” an evening of favorite music from popular Broadway shows, on Feb. 25 and 26 at The Pines Evergreen Room south of Seymour.

A nondinner show will be Feb. 24.

Paul Keller is heading up the production with Georgiann Coons directing the music and Dick Parman leading the band. Larry Hartley is assistant director for the production.

Vocalists are Courtney Durham, Natalie Whan, Bridget Bingham, Riley Lawles, Matt Nieman, Monica Kriete, Erin Moore, Stephanie Strothmann, Paul Angle and Keller.

Numbers have been selected from a wide variety of old favorites through popular new shows, including “The Music Man,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Les Misérables,” “Newsies,” “Annie,” “Waitress,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Wicked,” “Cats,” “Hello Dolly,” “Porgy and Bess,” “Chicago,” “Cabaret,” “Hamilton,” “Rent,” “Oklahoma,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “State Fair,” “Into the Woods,” “The Sound of Music,” “The King and I,” “South Pacific” and more.

Reservations are required for the dinner shows and recommended for the nondinner show. Tickets are $32 for the dinner shows and $15 for tickets to the nondinner show. Credit card use will add an extra $1. The dinner theater price includes the JCCT show and The Pines buffet, including gratuities and nonalcoholic beverages.
