The Medora Community School Corp. board of school trustees recently approved the 2022-23 school calendar.

The first day of school for teachers will be Aug. 8, and students will start Aug. 10.

School will not be in session Labor Day (Sept. 5).

Fall break is set for Oct. 10 through 14, Thanksgiving break is Nov. 23 through 25, Christmas break will be Dec. 19 through Jan. 2 and spring break is March 20 through 24.

There also will be no school on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 16), Presidents Day (Feb. 20) and Good Friday (April 7). All three of those days will be makeup days if needed.

The last day of school is set for May 26, and graduation for the Class of 2023 will be that night.

Makeup days will be used for the first three weather-related cancellations. Students will attend in-person classes on those days.

ELearning days will be used for student instruction on all additional canceled student instructional days.
