The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of school trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the administration office, 608 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.

That’s a change from the board normally meeting at the same time on the second Tuesday of each month.

The agenda includes Students of the Month, reports from the three school principals, a Brownstown Central High School Jobs for America’s Graduates presentation, a special education presentation, sale of property, a COVID-19 report and a report from Superintendent Tim Taylor.

Trustees also will consider approval of purchasing passenger buses for 2022 and transferring funds in the education, debt service, cafeteria, rainy day and operations funds within their appropriation limits and paying any outstanding claims within the limits of appropriated balances for 2021.

The meeting is open to the public and press.

At 6 p.m., the board will meet in executive session to receive information about prospective employees, discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction and discuss the assessment, design and implementation of school safety and security measures, plans and systems. That’s closed to the public and press.
