The public is invited to storytime and cookies with Santa Claus from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Blush and Brush Beauty Bar, 115 W. Second St., Seymour.

Amanda Barlow will be there to take photos of attendees with Santa. The Magic of Books Bookstore is helping with the storytime.

A donation of $25 will go to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Jackson County. That will provide free books to a child in Jackson County for the entire year.
