Mental Health America of Jackson County is providing Christmas gifts to its nearly 200 clients this year.

The nonprofit organization serves the community with several mental health initiative programs. Many of its clients live in direct service provider group home locations.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, clients will not be meeting in person for the Christmas Gift Lift, but Mental Health America will be providing gift bags to them.

Donations are being collected for the gift bags, including chapstick, loofahs, gloves, sock hats, nonslip socks, Dove men’s and women’s soap bars, nail polish and Old Spice aftershave.

Shopping options include an Amazon Wish List, monetary donations or locally in person.
