The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department’s inaugural Senior Prom 55 and Better is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Seymour Community Center, 107 S. Chestnut St.

The event is for adults ages 55 and older and will include snacks, drinks, a photography session, music, dancing and more.

The cost is $10 per person. You must have a ticket prior to the event because tickets will not be sold at the door.
