The Brownstown Area Ministerial Association will host its annual community Thanksgiving service Sunday at Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, 616 W. Commerce St.
The service is for all ages who wish to express thanks to God for his goodness, according to a news release from BAMA.
The service will begin at 6 p.m. and include elements of Thanksgiving for the past, present and future as well as some interactive Thanksgiving fun.
BAMA will receive an offering during the service to help support the Brownstown food pantry that is facilitated at the Nazarene church. Attendees also may bring canned goods that evening to be placed in the pantry. The pantry is open each Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Sunday evening’s service will conclude with a tour of the food pantry so the community may see the ministry at work.
