First Baptist Church in Seymour is partnering with Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry to distribute 200 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need.

The public can help by donating items for the baskets. Items needed include 130 cans of pumpkin, 130 frozen pie crusts and 130 5-pound bags of potatoes. Money also can be donated to purchased the needed items.

All items need to be donated at the church, 505 Community Drive, by Nov. 21.

People also can help sort and prepare the baskets on the evening of Nov. 21 or distribute the baskets on Nov. 24 at the church. The times will be announced on the church’s Facebook page, facebook.com/firstbaptistchurchseymour.
