James E. Bunch, 89, of Seymour passed away on November 4, 2021 at Autumn Trace, in Seymour, Indiana. James was born in 1932 in New Albany, IN to the late Charles and Zelma Apple Bunch.

He married the love of his life Evelyn Spath in New Albany, IN and they were married for 70 years.

James was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic church. James worked for Duke Energy for many years starting as a lineman and working his way up to District Superintendent.

James is survived by his son James Bunch Jr. and two grandkids Brooke Bunch and Alex Love.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Bunch, parents, and brother Donald Bunch.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 12, 2021 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Services will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Friday November 12, 2021 at 11:30 am with Father Dan Staublin and Deacon Mike East. Burial will follow at Kraft Graceland cemetery in New Albany, IN.
