Mr. Bogard was born in Washington, IN on April 19, 1936, to the late Cecil and Doris (Copeland) Bogard.

On June 27, 1954, he married Barbara Sue Jones. Jack was a retired brick mason, a member of American Legion Post 89, International Union of Brick Layers, and Allied Craft Workers Local 4 of IN and KY.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Marla Neidige and an infant sister, Lillian; sister Betty Hawk. Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Kim (David) Stein, Jacqueline (Dana)Delp, and Kathy (Mark) Kidwell; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Anna) Bogard. Also surviving him are his sisters-in-law, Patty Steen (Harold), Karla Moore (Greg) and Judy Price (Michael); brothers-in-law Ronnie Jones and Jerry Jones (Sue).

Visitation will be held at Voss Funeral Home Friday November 5th from 4 -7 pm, with funeral service on Saturday, November 6 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana.

Memorials may be made out to American Heart Association.
