The Pershing Township Lions Club will sponsor a soup supper and euchre tournament Nov. 13 at the senior citizens center (old fire station), 6807 N. Union St., Freetown.

The menu will include chili, bean and potato soup, hot dogs and homemade desserts. Serving for the meal will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the tournament will begin at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 for the meal and $5 to participate in the tournament.

In honor of Veterans Day, all veterans will eat and play for free.

The event is open to the public, and all proceeds benefit the Lions Club charity projects.
